Kristin M Schwengel, CMT

Kristin graduated from the University of Wisconsin Green Bay in 1996 with a double major in English and Humanistic Studies. Having always been interested in the healing arts, she returned to school in 2004, attending Lakeside School of Massage Therapy in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Her education included elements of trigger point therapy, connective tissue massage, creative mobility therapy, hydrotherapy, shiatsu, and deep tissue massage. She has since continued her education as a therapist with courses in hot stone massage, Upledger Craniosacral Therapy, and Yamuna Body Rolling therapeutic exercise.

Her approach to massage views the body as its own best tool for healing, with massage an important part of developing health, wholeness, and wellness.

Kristin lives in Wauwatosa with her husband and an ever-growing collection of books and music. In her spare time, she is an avid reader and writer, and also enjoys knitting, beading, and gourmet cooking.
