Karen is a 1988 Massage Therapy graduate of Lakeside School. She went on to U.W. Milwaukee where she completed a B.S.degree in Occupational Therapy in the Spring of 1997.

Karen has taken additional course work in: Cranial Sacral Therapy, muscle sculpting, Esalen, and Neuromuscular therapy as well as advanced anatomy, psychology, neuroanatomy, biomechanics, Letha yoga and Kinetic massage (both are assisted stretching tecnniques).

She presently works for St. Luke's South Shore in Acute care/Orthopedic Rehab as an occupational therapist as well as her practice at our clinic. Karen enjoys combining her massage therapy skills with occupational therapy training in order to provide treatment that encompasses the whole person.

She resides with her husband in their lakeside home with their four cats. She has been a Big Sister to a young man for over 18 years. Karen is a lover of nature and an avid gardener. Other hobbies include swimming and cooking for friends and family. She is a constant reader of books on spirituality, herbs and natural healing. She also loves to travel and learn about other cultures.
