Barbara graduated from Mt. Mary College in 1983, majoring in Art and Occupational Therapy.

Barbara took her first Craniosacral course in 1988, and has completed Craniosacral II, Somatoemotional Release I & II,  Pediatric CST, Zero Balancing I, and Lymph Drainage Therapy Brain I with the Upledger Institute. She has also taken additional course work in Acupressure, Kinesiotaping Methods, Sensory Integration, Neurodevelopmental Techniques, Autism, Blindness and Visual Impairment and Pediatric Rehab.

Barb joined Jensen Health & Energy Center in July of 2004 as a Craniosacral therapist. With her extensive pediatric experience, she helps our team with complex children and also adults. She has a deep understanding of developmental issues.

Since 1991, Barb has also worked at the Center for Blind and Visually Impaired Children for 20 years before joining MPS in 2009, providing OT services to children from birth to age six and their families. She enjoys working with the whole child within the dynamics of their family life. Her favorite part of the job is helping families enjoy their children despite challenges and allowing kids time to be kids.

She resides with her husband, Jim, and their 5 children in Milwaukee. When she is not playing "bus driver" or "sports Mom", Barb spends time with family and friends. She also takes time for reading, studying, listening to music, needlework and Yoga.
